The hidden connection between an MLB star, college starter, and high school phenom that no one's talking about…

Nolan Arenado - 10x All- Star, 8x Silver Slugger

I had three sessions scheduled last month with three very different hitters:

One plays in the big leagues.

One starts for a top D1 program.

One just committed as a high schooler.

All elite. All successful at their level.

As I broke down their swings, something jumped out that I'd never noticed before.

In every single one of their best swings, their legs did the exact same thing.

The back knee fired toward contact. The front leg braced to catch the energy.

Their upper & lower half were in sync, so every ounce of power they had went directly into the ball.

Then I looked at their bad swings, and the difference was night and day.

When their legs weren't in sync, everything else broke down.

I called Donnie Ecker, the legendary World Series hitting coach, to tell him about this…and he brought up an important point:

“Every coach is so focused on exit velocity, bat speed, and whatever else is trending on social media…they aren’t even talking about this. We should do something about it.”

So we teamed up to create something that fixes this problem once and for all.

Here's what we built…

9U to Pro

The challenge begins on December 9th.

Here's everything you need access to:

  • Batting cage (Garage or basement cages are fine for practice as long as you have 40+ feet of space)
  • Baseballs and tennis balls
  • Skinny bat (PVC pipe works for whiffle or tennis balls)
  • Short bat (about 5 inches shorter than normal)
  • Long bat (about 5 inches longer, a fungo or PVC pipe works fine)
  • Tee
  • Pitching machine or arm to throw to you
  • Camera/phone for recording (tripod or someone to record you)

About 30 minutes of hitting 3-5 times a week. The more the better, but at least 3 days a week hitting is enough for this challenge.

Progress will be measured through the competitions every week and the videos you send in as part of it.

There will be a group chat on a free messaging platform called Telegram. It's available to download right on your phone so it's basically like a group text.
